Rooted in the landscape of the south west of Scotland, Lindsay initially works in situ to capture an immediate sense of place. This material is then developed in the studio, often at scale, to produce energetic artwork in a range of mediums and surface.

We will be collaborating again with Stirling Photography Festival and this year’s exhibition, A Journey into Scotland’s Wildlife, features two of Scotland’s rising wildlife photographers, Michael Cook and Callum McKenzie.

Established in 2018 in celebration of Scotland’s Year of Young People, SPF is now established as an annual event in Scotland’s photography calendar.

Capturing nocturnal life both here and abroad, Lesley’s ability to capture light and shadow, reflections and colour is extraordinary. Her work is informed by a keen interest in and knowledge of art history and you can see the influence of Edward Hooper and Vermeer in her work but emphatically from a female perspective.

Look out for our call for artists to take part in our Christmas Selling Exhibition, as usual we will be seeking work that can be gifted, across a a range of prices. We will announce our theme for 2026 in August.
