Jane Charlton
Jane’s art is driven by a need to evoke a sense of place. She is drawn to architecture, both old and new, but especially Venetian domes and arches. After studying City & Guilds in Creative Textiles, she took part in Forth Valley Open Studios multiple times and has exhibited in many group exhibitions including: Art @47, Pittenweem, Tolbooth Gallery and Lanark Tweeddale Museum & Gallery, Peebles. She is a member and current Chair of EDGE Textile Artists Scotland and works from her studio in Linlithgow, drawing on her travels and urban sketching to inform her textile and mixed media work.
