ALLT FESTIVAL: CALL FOR ARTISTS
Weigh Ahead Gallery, Dunblane is delighted to be partnering with Allt Festival, a celebration of creativity across the Forth Valley region. Allt Festival is a contemporary Open Studios event complemented by a diverse programme of exhibitions, events, bus tours, youth engagement, and continuing professional development for artists.
We are seeking artists based in the Forth Valley area to submit work to be considered for inclusion in our curated exhibition which will run from 4 June – 5 July. We’re looking for 2D work in any media including (but not limited to) painting, photography, printmaking. We are particularly interested in work by emerging artists, those returning to their practice after a period away and those who either do not have a studio or have one that is not suitable for public access.
Our gallery is situated upstairs at Weigh Ahead, a refill and community shop in the heart of historic Dunblane, and we host year-round programme of fine art and craft exhibitions.
The festival launches on the evening of Thursday, 4 June, with a vibrant event in Dunblane featuring this exhibition plus an Emerging Artist Exhibition, a Youth Showcase, and a further curated group exhibition at Craft Central.
